A little rhyme by me... hehe

Twas the week before Christmas, and all through the house,

You could smell treats and cookies, we all felt like cows.

The wrapping paper was sitting on the counter with care,

In hopes Christmas music would waft through the air.

The gifts were all nestled all snug in their tins,

For all of the family's, friend's, and the Kin.

Momma baked in her apron, wanting to lay on a mat,

She whipped up mac and cheese, and with her cookies we all sat.

When down in our tummy there arose such a clatter

We sprang from the couch to see what was the matter

Away to the Tree we flew like a flash

Ripped open our presents, and Let out a gasp.

What to our wondering eyes should appear,

But a whole lot of family, full of Christmas cookies and cheer.

With determination and pride we knew what to do,

Read the Christmas story think about God and Jesus too.

And away we flew like the down of a thistle

With LOTS of kisses under the mistle.

But I heard everyone exclaim, ‘as we drove out of sight,"

Merry Christmas to All and to All a Goodnight!
